Where necessary,
specific diagnostic tests will be recommended in order to help ascertain
certain suspected conditions or nutritional imbalances –
this eliminates any guess-work and assists in pinpointing the root of the
problem.
Most
tests are non-intrusive, and samples
(where applicable) will be sent to
renowned scientific laboratories based in the UK.
Many laboratories are recognised by
health insurance companies, so it may be possible for clients to
claim on their policy, via a written referral from their GP.
The tests
that can be arranged for you include:
-
Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis (to
assess status of digestive health)
-
Female & Male Hormone Profiles
-
Stress Hormone Profiles
-
Food Intolerance Testing
-
Allergy Testing
-

-

If required, test kits can be ordered
and delivered to your own home, but for those tests requiring a blood sample
(other than a DIY finger-prick sample) you will
need the assistance of your GP, practice nurse or other qualified
phlebotomist.
Tests are charged separately. Costs vary, depending on the
complexity of the test and the laboratory involved.
All test results are
sent directly from the laboratory to the Nutritional Therapist, for
analysis and interpretation.
